You are cordially invited to the 11th Annual Purple Run on October 11, 2025 at 9:00 am at Duderstadt Center, 2281 Bonisteel, Ann Arbor MI 48109. The Purple Run is a 5K fun run/walk event sponsored by the University of Michigan Police Department, Ann Arbor Police Department and the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office. All proceeds from the event go directly to SafeHouse Center. This 5K is held during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
SafeHouse Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support, advocacy and resources to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and their children. SafeHouse Center is an important local resource and offers free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives, works or receives medical care in Washtenaw County. These services include counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, a 24- hour helpline, and emergency shelter for those in danger of being harmed or killed.
