Announcing the winner of the 1st Annual T-Shirt Design Competition !
Congratulations to Jesse who is the winner of the 1st annual Purple Run t-shirt design competition! Jesse provided this design and wrote an essay explaining why the mission of SafeHouse Center is so important to her. A snippet of her essay said:
“This is incredibly important, I believe, because the conversation of domestic violence is often centered around those directly involved: the abuser and the victim. However, it is the responsibility of everyone, even those not involved, to spread awareness and support those affected by domestic violence. It is only together, as a community that we can hope to heal."
